What is the Herbie Clip™?

The Herbie Clip™ is a unique strong and durable nylon hose clamp, which is quick and simple to install.

What is its main Feature?

The Herbie Clip™ is unlike any other hose fastener. The exceptional strength of the clip, arises from its unique interlocking double toothed jaws (a patented design).

How does the Herbie Clip™ Perform?

It is precision moulded and made from highly durable Nylon 6.6 - a premium grade engineering polymer. Producing a very tight seal up to 200 psi (14 bar/400lb), This depends on the hose and spigot.
The Herbie Clip™ is heat and UV stabilised, The clip is unaffected by petrol, diesel, oils and many other potentially corrosive substances, with a working temperature range of -40 to 132 degrees C (-40ºF - 270ºF).

What about fitting and removing?

One of the great benefits of the Herbie Clip™ is its reusability, And although it can be fitted using a pair of pliers HCL have developed a range of manual fitting & removal tools to help speed up the process. For more information please download our Fitting Instructions (184kb)

For high volume applications HCL also provides a number of pneumatic Tooling options. HCL are in fact willing to develop specific tooling for your individual needs.
